A training agency is seeking former Afghan nationals, or direct descendants, that may be interested in part time work as language/cultural experts for training that we are delivering to Australian soldiers prior to their deployments to Afghanistan. Afghan actors / role players required for defence training designed to replicate real world training environments. Exercises occur 2-3 times per year for up to 12 continuous days per exercise. All travel, accommodation, meals and support is provided throughout duration of exercise. Hours will be up to 12 hours per day and/or night. Role players, at times, may be exposed to simulated combat-like conditions with high levels of visual/noise exposure within Australian OH&S standards. All effects are simulated only. Individual may be exposed to stress environments including night, isolation and remote areas and should be experienced in such environments. Ex-military and/or reserve military personnel are encouraged to apply.
